WWE has shelled out over $300,000 on fireworks for WrestleMania 24. A story in the Orlando Sentinel today notes that the pyrotechnics will be set off from boats on the lake behind the Citrus Bowl.
The article also notes that Orlando is already gearing up to bring WrestleMania back in 2011 or 2012. Mayor Buddy Dyer told the newspaper that hed like to bring the event back every 2 to 4 years.
Orlando city officials have done so well that Linda McMahon has stated that they have set the new standard for promoting and hosting WrestleMania. She has told reporters that she hopes Orlando has started a trend of city officials offering to hold WrestleMania.
