Steve Austin arrived in Orlando last Thursday and hung out with friends from WWE & TNA throughout the weekend. He then attended the Hall of Fame ceremony on Saturday and had an open invitation to attend WrestleMania 24 in the luxury box with the McMahon family, Kevin Nash and others, but he declined. Austin chose to fly home so he could watch the show from the comfort of his living room and was looking forward to the match between Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels.
Austin wanted to enjoy the show, especially Flair vs. Michaels, without being distracted. He told friends that its hard to enjoy shows he attends in-person because so many people want to talk to him.
